Birds in the sun
Devoted to ecologist Rachel Carson
The scarf comes with a card with a story.
What if one day we wake up and realize that silence is around – birds are silent, all living things have disappeared. And the reason for this is we, humans. Rachel Carson, an ecologist and author of the book "Silent Spring", felt danger in the air at the right time: in the 1950s the United States actively began to use pesticides, they destroyed not only pests, but also harmless insects and birds. Thanks to the courage and efforts of Rachel, ten years later DDT pesticides were banned.
